DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BOGOTÁ
Upon arrival in Bogota you will be welcomed by a bilingual travel guide and transferred to a pleasant and well located hote where you will spend three -3- nights including American breakfast.

DAY 2: BOGOTÁ
We begin with a walk to Bogota’s main square, the Plaza de Bolívar and the government buildings around it, before entering the nearby “Candelaria” old town, the colonial centre of the city. We follow this with visits to San Francisco church and to the world-famous Museo Del Oro (closed on Mondays), which contains more than 30.000 pre-Columbian gold artifacts. We end with a trip by cable car to the summit of Monserrate hill, Bogota’s best-known landmark, with a wonderful view of the whole city and the savannah beyond. In the afternoon short direct flight to Armenia, located in the Coffeeregion. Arrival and transfer to a coffee-growing farm located near Armenia where we will spend two nights including breakfast.

DAY 3: ARMENIA (COFFEE REGION)
After breakfast trip to the Cocora Valley. With breathtaking landscapes which will be explored by a horse riding or walking trip this is one of the most beautiful places in Colombia. Here we will find the impressive “Palma de Cera”, the Colombian national tree and one of the tallest varieties of palm in the world. On the way back to Armenia we will visit Salento a picturesque village in the middle of the coffee growing landscape. In the late afternoon visit of a special coffee growing farm which consists of a technical and practical introduction about the whole coffee cultivation and production process and a visit of the botanical garden with its impressive butterfly raising.

DAY 4: ARMENIA (COFFEE REGION)– CARTAGENA
After breakfast we fly to Cartagena de India via Bogota. Arrival in the marvelous City of Cartagena and transfer to our Hotel, located in the old city of Cartagena

DAY 5: CARTAGENA
Half day Citytour: This fascinating halfday tour starts with the visit of the most representative monuments of Cartagena starting at the Convent of La Popa (highest point of the city). It continues to the Castillo de San Felipe, an immense fort filled with history and mysteries hidden in its stone-walled tunnels, leaving the castle we visit the monument of Zapatos Viejos, the “Old Shoes”. The most impressive definitely is the huge defensive wall that surrounds the old city, which overlooks the sea and its well-preserved colonial architecture. During the rest of the visit you will see the cities churches, museums, plazas, restaurants, shops and jewelry stores. This combination makes Cartagena deserving the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site as you will never forget this wonderful destination. Duration: 4 hours approximately. In the afternoon free time

DAY 6: CARTAGENA
Tour to Rosario Islands: Our departure takes off in speed boat from the “Muelle de los Pegasos” crossing Cartagena Bay, passing through Bocachica and skirting the north coast of the island of Barú towards “El Rosario Islands”. First stop at Cholón beaches in order to enjoy the crystal clear waters and continuing towards Pirate Island. On arrival, a welcome coffee break and time to swim or relax on the small island awaits you. After a typical lunch, the trip continues to San Martín Island with a visit of the aquarium and a chance to see performing dolphins and sharks. After that we begin the return trip to Pirate Island where there wil be more time to relax, swim or snorkel. In the afternoon we return to Cartagena. (Trip will be conducted in the company of an international group of tourists, under the supervision of a bilingual guide. The entrance to the aquarium costs 7 USD per person and is not included). Please note that there´s no individual tourguide on board just a general one for the whole group. Duration: 9 hours approximately.

DAY 7: CARTAGENA - DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport of Cartagena and flight home!
